Job Description
A PRINCIPAL ANALOGUE DESIGN ENGINEER is required to join the global leader in the supply of high performance mixed-signal semiconductors to the consumer electronics market in Berkshire.
Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible and accountable for the successful design and productionisation of complex digital circuits within high performance Integrated Circuits.
• Significant contribution to product definition, prototype evaluation, test development & product release
• Supervise project implementations including layout design and will supervise and be accountable for the technical content of less experienced engineers
• Mentors/Coaches others
• Develop new tools design techniques, concepts, architectures and methods independent from existing practices
• Contribute significantly to business planning of a specific product area and/or technology function.
• Successfully complete several revenue generating projects through to production transfer
• Communication/presentations to internal/external audiences
• Support of all functions within development; marketing, test, evaluation, applications and reliability
• Keeps abreast of latest developments within their specialism
• Customer facing skills
• Build lasting technical relationships with customers
